We’re Darya and Marty Wilson, the new owners and managers of the Jim Charles Shoes., formerly known as Hand Dyed Shoe Co. It's an absolute pleasure to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about the exciting changes we’re making to this already incredible business.

Many of you will know the name Jim Charles for its long-standing tradition of creating exceptional, hand-crafted shoes. This amazing brand was founded by our good friend, Simon Bourne, and when the opportunity arose for us to take over, we couldn’t resist. As long-time customers of Jim Charles ourselves, we know the quality, creativity, and sheer joy of owning a pair of these shoes. So, when Simon handed us the reins, we knew it was the perfect fit.

Our promise to you is simple: We’ll continue the same passion, creativity, and excitement that Simon poured into the company. After all, Jim Charles shoes were always more than just footwear — they were, and still are, a bloody good pair of shoes!

As we take this exciting step forward, we’re reworking the website to make it more user-friendly and enjoyable for you. We’re also working on adding more shoe models as we go, with a clear goal: to ensure that your experience with us is as smooth and satisfying as possible.

Our Men’s Range – Now Simplified and Stylish

To start, we’re launching with our revamped men’s range, broken down into three distinct categories:

   If you're looking to grab a great pair of shoes in just a few short days, the In Stock section is perfect for you. These shoes are ready to go right off the shelf — no waiting around for custom designs. While they aren’t customizable, rest assured, they’re made from the same high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship that have always defined Jim Charles.

2. Design Your Own
   Want to experiment with your creativity? The Design Your Own section lets you do just that! Choose your colour, your sole, add your initials — the options are endless. We believe that shoes are a personal statement, and we want you to have fun making them truly yours.

3. Full Artisan Range
   This is where the magic happens. Our Full Artisan Range takes customization to the next level. These shoes are completely unique, featuring custom materials, hand-dyed patinas, unique colours, soles, and styles. If you're looking to wear something that’s as one-of-a-kind as you are, this is the place to start. Let your creativity run wild and design shoes that are truly a reflection of your own personal style.

The Future: Women’s Range Coming Soon!

We’re not stopping with just men’s shoes. In the very near future, we’ll be launching a women’s range — and yes, all the same customisation options will be available for our ladies as well.
