You are essentially buying your loved one the gift of designing a pair of customised shoes. You can choose how many pairs of shoes you would like your lucky fella to be able to create for themselves over the next 12 months. You are also buying them a membership to Jim Charles Shoes, which will activate the day they place the order for their first pair. A membership includes many benefits, including a contribution to the charity, Andy's Man Club, whose mission is to save the life of one man in mental health crisis, alongside free gifts at Christmas and much more.

It depends on which subscription you choose. If you choose one pair, your gift will be redeemable after the 12th payment. If it's two pairs, the first pair will be redeemable after the 6th payment. If it is three, the first pair will be redeemable after the 4th payment.

We will notify you when it is time to redeem your gift (either four months, six months or twelve months from purchase). At this point, your subscription credit will be converted into a gift card coupon.

When you receive your notification, you should book an appointment with one of our designers (or online). We will help you to design your customised shoes either in person, or online. 

The shoes will then take around four weeks to make and your Jim Charles membership will be activated on the day you order your shoes.

Most shoes are priced at £299. Boots will cost around £30 more. We always recommend cedarwood shoe trees, which are prices at £40 per set.

You will receive your customised shoes as well as complimentary cedarwood shoe trees and cotton care bags.

No. The only thing that will cost you extra is if you would like to buy a care kit (£35) and/or a matching belt for your shoes (£99). This can be paid at the end of your appointment.

From the day your gift coupon is activated, you will have 12 months to redeem it.

Unfortunately, gift card must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase. 

If you cancel your subscription, your credit would be forfeited, however you can pause your subscription at any point if you need to take a break and your credit will be held until you reactivate it. Once you reach the appropriate payment interval for your subscription, you will be notified that it's time to create your shoes.

No. We send gift cards our digitally so you will receive it via email. You can print it off and present it to your loved one however you please.

We can send you a branded gift card in the post by request. There is a £8.99 surcharge for a physical gift card. If you would like to order a physical gift card, please place your order below, then email customerservices@jimcharlesshoes.com with your request.

Unfortunately, subscriptions are non-refundable.
